News: Digital
Art at the Chamber sets creativity working...
Digital Artist, Sharon Teague,
is the latest in the series of artists sourced by ArtsOptions to have
work in the Suffolk Chamber Members' Conference Room at Felaw Maltings,
Ipswich, and the work is on display until 10 May (to view, tel: 01473
680600).
Sharon's work is produced using
a digital camera and computer software as tools equivalent to a painter's
palette and brush or sculptor's chisel. In her talented art and design
hands she can combine, manipulate and enhance her own digital images to
create original, exciting and diverse new work. Her subjects range from
vibrant images derived from plants, animals and local scenes to bold,
often quirky abstracts, all of which can be produced to order, in a range
of sizes and colours to suit every customer and any setting.
Colours can even be changed
to complement the decor or the company branding. Her limited edition,
signed work can be produced on photographic paper for framing, on canvas
or, for that extra contemporary style, on perspex or in a back-lit frame.
Margo Ladell Pigott of ArtsOptions
says "IT companies, office designers and facilities managers alike
will be particularly fascinated by her work. Sharon is one of over 30
professional artists in our Portfolio of painters, print-makers, photographers,
textile artists, sculptors, ceramic and glass artists, who produce anything
from large canvasses and sculptures to handmade coffee cups to enhance
any business reception or boardroom. Most of our work is available to
hire or buy and in addition we can source exclusive presentation or anniversary
gifts, boxed and branded to suit each client."
